Girl Scout cookies are still available for purchase from girls at Cookie Booths, which are located outside of various area businesses now through April 8.
There are eight varieties of Girl Scout cookies this year: Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Caramel deLites, Shortbreads, Lemonades, Thanks-A-Lots, and Shout-Outs.
Funds from the Girl Scout Cookie Program support leadership development programming and allow girls and troops to raise money to use however they choose.
