Robbins, Robert lan “Rob”

Robert Alan “Rob” Robbins, age 42 of Manawa, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm. Born on February 26, 1970 at the RAF in Lakenheath, England, he was the son of Robert and Donna (Falbo) Robbins. Since 2004, Rob co-founded and co-owned Performance Industrial Products LLC in Weyauwega, WI, along side his brother, Chris. He was a member of the American Foundryman’s Society. Rob was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time hunting; especially pheasant hunting with his dogs, and deep sea fishing. In November of 2011 he had the opportunity to hunt in Kyrgyzstan where he proudly shot a trophy ibex. Rob also enjoyed farming and raised Black Angus Cows. Many happy memories were shared over meals he cooked for family and friends. Rob is survived by his parents, Robert and Donna Robbins of Kenosha; his fiancee, Samantha Kuharske of Manawa; his “daughter”, Vanity; his sister, Brooke (Douglas) Nielsen of Union Grove; his brother, Chris (Betsy) Robbins of Waupaca; and three nieces, Greta, Sonya and Izzy. He is further survived by many loving cousins and friends. Waiting to reunite with Rob were his two faithful canine companions, Woody and Jackson. A Memorial Service in celebration of Rob’s life will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. A gathering of relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service. His family will also be hosting a celebration at the Waupaca Ale House, 201 Foxfire Dr., at 5:00 p.m. on April 14, 2012. Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha.
