Fox Valley Technical College has an outstanding reputation in our area. The college’s public safety division is a great resource for our region, and the addition of a Public Safety Training Center will put our safety officials one step ahead of the rest.
As sheriff in Waupaca County, my department and I look to Fox Valley Technical College as a go-to destination for specialized training. We like to stay at the forefront of the best practices in law enforcement to better serve our community. The Public Safety Training Center will allow us to train our police officials using real-life situations.
By providing our police force with the latest technology and specialized tactical training, FVTC has made a concerted effort to help train professionals in areas of crime prevention and responsiveness. This expansion is really about providing our departments with the resources needed to keep our communities safe by uniting all public safety disciplines.
By passing the proposed FVTC expansion, we are ensuring that our public safety officials have the opportunity to receive the best possible training. That training will be reflected in every community that will be served by this Center. The Public Safety Training Center is one of a kind, and has great potential to make a national impact.
