Robert “Bob” E. Webb, age 74, died on Sunday, April 29, 2012. Bob was born on May 11, 1937, in Clintonville son of the late Earl and Verna Mae (Pace) Webb. On October 8, 1960, he was united in marriage to Georgiann “Jo” Danke in Readfield. Bob worked at Zaug’s Vending and then for the New London Police Department for 18 1/2 years and later as a security guard at Hillshire Farms (Sara Lee) for 10 years until his retirement. He loved to fish, golf, bowl and deer hunt. Bob served in the Navy Reserves for 8 years. He is survived by his wife, Jo; daughters, Jeanice (Edward) Wise, Appleton; Theresa (Galen) Spatz, New London; Kristine (Daniel) Rindlisbacher, Florida; a son, Paul Webb, New London; brother, Kim Webb, Appleton and a sister, Colleen (Jim) Collier, Colorado. Ten grandchildren: Catrina (Roy) Williams, Jeremy (Nikki) Kienetz, Mindi Kienetz, Branden Wise, Jamie (Chad) Stroud, Joe (Jess) Ritchie, Cody Spatz, Kyle Spatz, Samantha Webb, and Hope Webb. 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive Bob. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law, Donald and William Danke, grandson, Andrew (Paul) Webb and a sister-in-law, Donna (Jarold) Danke. Funeral services for Bob were held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Residence Chapel, New London with Rev. Alex Tychkin officiating. Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home (209 W Cook St), New London from 4-7 p.m. and also at the Chapel on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment was in the Floral Hill Cemetery following the service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the St. Joseph Residence staff for the love, care and laughter they gave to Bob during his 2 1/2 year stay with them.
