Voeltner, Karen A.

Karen A. Voeltner, age 72, of Waupaca, died suddenly on Saturday, May 12, 2012. She was born in Milwaukee on December 9, 1939, daughter of the late Marvin and Eleanor (Michaels) Christopherson. On April 28, 1962 she was united in marriage to Robert R. Voeltner in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 2005. Karen and Robert lived in Milwaukee until moving to the Weyauwega area in 1972. She enjoyed traveling, camping and loved animals. She is survived by her children: Glen Voeltner, Weyauwega; Debra (Darrel) Roy, Iola; a step grandchild Sarah Roy; brother, Gary (Marilyn) Christopherson, West Allis. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, and also a son Paul Gary. The funeral service for Karen will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Rev. Vilas Mazemke officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin. A visitation for Karen will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Cline-Hanson-Dahlke 200 S.
