Maney, Mary M.

Mary M. Maney, Waupaca, Wisconsin, age 68, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born February 6, 1944 in Chicago, IL; daughter of Paul K. and Marjorie J. (Williams) Wells, Sr. Mary was a LPN for many years working in various hospitals and nursing homes. She was known for her love of crocheting and her feisty but caring ways. Mary will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and friends. Mary is survived by: two sisters, Christine A. (Lawrence) Leitner of West Allis, WI and Nicole A. (Mike Nelsen) Wells of Waupaca, WI; a brother, Paul K. (Beverly) Wells, Jr. of New Bern, NC; niece, Heather Leitner of West Allis, WI; two nephews, Robert (Cathy) Wells of Columbia Heights, OH and Phillip Wells of New Bern, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Sr. and Marjorie Wells, and her significant other, Dale Petrick. Per Mary’s wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Bethany Home Remodeling Fund, 1226 Berlin Street, Waupaca, WI 54981 or to the Humane Society of Waupaca County, P.O. Box 145, Waupaca, WI 54981. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
