? Aug. 5 – The owner of rental storage facility located on Jepson Road in Embarrass reported that someone broke into four units.

? Aug. 5 – A gun, a shop saw and tools were stolen from a shed on the E9400 block of Poehlman Road, New London.

? Aug. 4 – A Waupaca man reported that his cellphone had been stolen while he was at a local bar.

? Aug. 3 – A Clintonville woman reported that her Social Security number had been used to open a credit card account.

? Aug. 3 – A resident of the 300 block of Western Avenue, Waupaca, reported that a case of dart tips and other items were stolen from his parked car.

? Aug. 2 – A welding table, copper wiring and extension cords were reported stolen from the E9200 block of Kanaman Road, New London.

? Aug. 1 – A Scandinavia woman reported more than $890 in fraudulent charges on her bank debit card. The charges were made for purchases in Illinois.

? Aug. 1 – A bicycle was stolen from the 1500 block of Cedar Street, New London.

Traffic

? July 29 – Two people were injured in a crash at 10:40 p.m. Sunday, July 29. in the town of Waupaca.

Jason Beaber, 26, Manawa was northbound on County Road E when he encountered two cows in the roadway. Although he swerved, Beaber hit both cows and lost control of his vehicle.

Both the driver and a passenger, Troy Bennett, 24, Waupaca, were transported from the scene by ambulance for minor injuries.

? July 28 – The passenger of a motorcycle was injured in a crash at approximately 11 p.m. Saturday, July 28, in the town of Little Wolf.

Chad Comers, 38, New London, was eastbound on Hillside Road when he swerved to miss a deer while coming around a curve. His passenger, Bonnie Fritsch-Heineman, 47, Manawa, fell off the bike.

According to the accident report, Fritsch-Heineman became ill two hours after the accident and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
