Clambake hosted

This summer, Mary Ann and Bob Wells hosted a clambake at their home on the Chain O’ Lakes in support of Wega Arts.

The 95 invited guests were treated to a true New England clambake.

The lobsters, flown in fresh from Maine, were steamed over a bed of hot rocks and seaweed, along with potatoes, corn, andouille sausage and fresh clams.

The guests, all of whom are supporters of Wega Arts, were also treated to oysters on the half shell, while the Mark Little Band played.

Ingrid Lesley organized a silent auction, representing local artists.

Guests strolled around the grounds as the conversation turned to upcoming events at Wega Arts, including this November’s film festival.
