David L. Rosenthal, age 67, of Manawa, passed away at his residence on Monday, September 3, 2012. He was born on June 18, 1945, in Appleton, son of George Rosenthal. On November 13, 1987, he was united in marriage to Janice Murphy. Dave owned and operated D.R. Towing in Manawa and he also owned and operated Bear Lake Resort, better known as “Dave’s” Bear Lake when he owned it. He is survived by his wife Jan; 2 daughters, Terry Rosenthal and Sherry (Del) Spearman, both of Florida; also two step-children, Gena Pamperin (Curt Sampson), Manawa; Jodi (John) Kenny, Neenah; 3 grandchildren: Chase Spearman, Nicole Pamperin and Grace Kenny; a brother, Tom (Gail) Rosenthal; 2 sisters, Linda Schnitzer, Sue (Bill) Marcks. He is further survived by a special nephew Jake, other nieces, and nephews, cousins and many friends. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate David’s life will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. at Bear Lake Resort (N4715 State Road 22 and 110) in Manawa.
