Chain O’Lakes 4-H Club Open House

Sunday November 11th 2:00-4:00 pm the Chain O’Lakes 4-H Club is holding open house at the Waupaca Recreation Center along with the monthly meeting. Current members and parents, as well as people looking for a local club to join, are welcome to attend this free event. The members will complete projects, play games, basketball, learn about 4-H and have icecream and snacks.

4-H membership is open to youth 5K to one year after high school, living in urban and rural areas. Over 37,000 youth are enrolled members of 4-H clubs in all 72 of Wisconsin’s counties.

4-H programs promote the essential elements of youth development, gives youth direct experiences with democratic practices while serving as club officers, teaches valuble skills like teamwork, problem-solving and positive communication, and also 4-H emphasizes the role of young people as active citizens in their communities.

Explore the rainbow of activites such as dogs, vegetables, small animals, poultry, crafts, woodworking,horse,beef,foods,photography,art, computers, fishing and outdoors to name a few.
Chain O’Lakes 4-H club also focuses on leadership and helps with Waupaca area focused community service projects. We also rakes leaves, donate to Waupaca Red cross, HELP Shelter, Food Pantry, and make gift baskets for Adopt A Friend.
