Three women arrested for criminal theft

Three female suspects have been arrested in connection with a series of thefts from Clintonville businesses.

The Clintonville Police Department was notified of suspicious subjects possibly placing items in a vehicle while parked on SSGT Warren Hansen Drive, behind Walker Forge, at around 2:26 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7.

Officers located the vehicle and stopped it on East Green Tree Road at North Main Street a short time later.

Through interviews and investigation, officers were able to determine that three female suspects had stolen property from an area business. It was also determined that the suspects were in the process of stealing property from another business nearby.

All three female suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Clintonville Police Department, and the stolen property was seized and later returned to the victim.

Two females, both 37 years of age from the Weyauwega area, were transported to the Waupaca County Jail on probation violations.

The third female suspect was released pending filing of charges through the district attorney’s office.
