The Tree Stand in New London was destroyed by fire in the early morning hours on Monday, Nov. 12.
The New London Fire Department responded to the bar, located at 2104 N. Shawano Street, at around 1:33 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12.
According to New London Fire Chief Bart Roloff, the fire was in the upper part of the building but was spreading quickly when firefighters arrived on scene. Firefighters fought the blaze, but the building was declared a total loss.
Firefighters remained on scene until about 7:30 a.m., with a few staying longer to watch for flare-ups.
The fire remains under investigation.
