The New London varsity wrestling team earned a 45-28 win over the Denmark Vikings on Thursday, Jan. 10.
Andrew Moser earned a win at 152 pounds, as did Tommy Thurber at 160 pounds. Brett Handschke won by pin at 170, and Andrew Clauss lost his match at 182 pounds.
Austin Postel, Justin Behnke and Alex Chyniweth all earned forfeit wins.
Skylar Moderson won his match at 106 pounds, and Anna Malueg won her match at 113 pounds by pin. Jake Close earned a win at 120 pounds, while Paul Sorenson lost at 126 pounds, Texas Herter lost at 132 pounds, Wil Haddix lost at 138 pounds, and Austin Wyngaard lost at 45 pounds.
In JV matches, Andrew Postel went 1-1, Johnny Hintzke was 1-1 with a pin, Frenando Castello was 2-0 with two pins, and Carlos Enamorado was 0-2.
