A weekend of family activities will take place during Winter Whirl in Clintonville from Feb. 1-3.

Friday, Feb. 1
• Used Book Sale – Clintonville Public Library, 75 Hemlock St., 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Also extended hours Thursday, Jan. 31, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
• 2013 Madden Football Tourney
• Clintonville Recreation Center, 55 E. 12th St., 5:45 p.m.-10 p.m. PS3 (Resume on Saturday) $10 Entry Fee, 1st-3rd receive prizes.
• Snack & Beverage Booth – Clintonville Recreation Center, 55 E. 12th St., 5:45 p.m.-10 p.m. The high school wrestling team will be providing snacks and beverages for the Madden Football Tourney.
Saturday, Feb. 2
• Pie & Ice Cream Social – Community Center, 30 S. Main St., 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Enjoy a piece of homemade pie, ice cream & coffee or milk for $2.
• Tummy Warmer Chili & Chicken Soup Cook-Off – Clintonville Recreation Center, 55 E. 12th St. Mild & Hot Chili, chicken soup. Doors open at 10 a.m. for the public and close at 2 p.m.
• Coffee Stand – Clintonville Recreation Center, 55 E. 12th St., 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The Clintonville High School Wrestling Team is fundraising with their 6 different 100 percent Arabica Coffee, slow roasted, 100 percent Fair Trade. Selling by the cup or you can preorder bags onsite.
• Food Stand – Community Center, 30 S. Main St., 10 a.m.-2 p.m. held by the Clintonville High School Softball Team.
• Super Sundaes – Recreation Center, 55 E. 12th St., 10:30 a.m.-1:30 a.m. Woodland Badgers 4H.
• Food Stand – Recreation Center, 55 E. 12th St., 10 a.m.-2 p.m. held by the Clintonville High School Soccer Club.
• Craft/Vendor Sale – Community Center, 30 S. Main St., 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Call Justin at 715-823-7660 to reserve a space. Space also available at the Clintonville Recreation Center, 55 E. 12th St., 10 a.m.-2 p.m., need to preregister ahead of time.
• Wooden Shoe Carver Presentation – Community Center, 30 S. Main St., 3 p.m.- Last Shoe Carver in America, will hand carve a shoe in 28 minutes while a P.B.S. documentary plays off to the side.
• Used Book Sale – Clintonville Public Library, 75 Hemlock St., 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
• 2013 Madden Football Tourney – Clintonville Recreation Center, 55 E. 12th St., 5:45 p.m.-10 p.m. PS3. Finish the tournament started on Friday; 1st-3rd receive prizes.
Sunday, Feb. 3
• All You Can Eat Porkie, Pancake, Scrambled Egg Breakfast – Community Center, 30 S. Main St., 7:30-11 a.m., 13 & older $5; 5-12 $4.
• Super Bowl Bowling & Pizza Party – Clintonville Lanes, 250 County Trk I. For $25 a group of four gets 2 hours of bowling, a pizza and pitcher of soda. $5 extra per bowler over 4 people per group; 11:30-1 p.m. shift and 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. shift. Register and pay at City Hall.
