Michael C. Coyle, age 76, New London, died on Saturday, February 02, 2013.

Mike was born on October 7, 1936, in Milwaukee, son of the late William and Ann (Kische) Coyle. He was united in marriage to Donna Collins on August 16, 1958, in New London. Mike owned and operated Coyle’s Tire and Auto in New London for over 50 years. Mike was the founder of the New Dublin Parade and Irish Fest in New London and was well known as Fr. Coyle of Finnegan’s wake. Mike’s favorite saying was, “Live every day like it’s your last, and someday you’ll be right.” He served in the US Navel Reserves. He was a lifelong member of the Shamrock Club and a member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus, Wolf River Men’s Club and New London Lions Club. Mike was known for his one liners and jokes.
He is survived by his wife Donna; daughters, Diane Coyle, Green Bay; Beth (Jeremy) Hutchinson, New London; Paula (Scott) Ort, New London and a son Mark (Lynda) Coyle, Houston, TX. Grandchildren: Sabrina (Michael) Roethe, Tanner, Morgan, Ashton and Michael Ort; Madeline Hutchinson, and Alex and Austin Wagner; great-grandson, Gavin Ort; and a sister Anna Marie (Dick) Lanam, Vero Beach, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Brian.
Funeral Mass for Mike was held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London with Fr. Arul Joseph Irudamoney officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation was held at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at St. Joseph Residence for all the care they gave Mike and the kindness they showed to his family.
