Special Waupaca Common Council meeting Feb. 12

Those wanting to speak at the Feb. 12 Waupaca Common Council meeting about the fluoridation of the city’s water have until noon on Wednesday, Feb. 6 to get on the agenda.

To be included in the council packet for the special meeting, call Deputy City Clerk Sandy Stiebs at 715-258-4411, by the Feb. 6 deadline.

Speakers, who have handouts, should have 20 copies dropped off at City Hall by that same deadline.

Such information will then be included in the council packet, so as to allow members of the council to be able to read the information before the Feb. 12 meeting.

Fluoridation of the city’s water will be the only topic on the agenda of the special meeting.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will begin at 5:45 p.m. in the council chambers, located in the lower level of City Hall.

It is Mayor Brian Smith’s intention only those signed up ahead time to speak will be allowed to do so, with a 15-minute time limit for each person.
