The Waupaca County Democratic Party will meet at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, in Meeting Room A at the Waupaca Area Public Library in downtown Waupaca.
Diana Lawrence, conservation chairwoman of the Fox Valley Sierra Group, will be the guest speaker.
Lawrence will discuss proposed changes to mining regulations in the state.
The meeting is open to the public.
A business meeting will precede Lawrence’s discussion.
