Waupaca police seek robbery suspect

Waupaca police were dispatched to The Village Inn on West Fulton Street in response to a reported robbery Wednesday night.

The hotel clerk told police that a woman entered the building at 7:45 p.m., tied and bound the clerk and threatened her with a knife. Waupaca Police Chief Tim Goke said the clerk was shaken by the incident, but not injured.

The suspect is described as a white female, late 20s or early 30s, 5-foot six-inches tall, brown eyes, brown hair and medium complexion.

The suspect also said she had a gun, but one was not displayed.

A small amount of cash was stolen.
