The Manawa Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Candidate Forum for the mayor and school board positions.
The forum will take place at the Masonic Lodge in Manawa on Monday, March 4, starting at 7 p.m.
The purpose of the forum is to give the candidates an opportunity to present their views to the Manawa and surrounding communities. The format will provide the candidates an opportunity to state their views as to why they are the best candidate for the position being sought.
After each candidate has stated their views, a question and answer session will follow, in which a moderator will be used. Questions from the audience will be presented to a panel for screening before being presented to the moderator. The moderator will then direct the questions to the candidates. Each candidate will have three minutes to answer the specific question addressed to the position they are running for.
