Brigham, Harry A.

Harry A. Brigham, age 85, New London, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at St. Joseph Residence.

Harry was born on March 6, 1927, in the Town of Dayton (Waupaca County), son of the late Harry Sr. and Maisy (Gordon) Brigham. He served his country in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy during WWII. On February 14, 1948, he was united in marriage to Caroline Schoenrock in New London. She preceded him in death on March 10, 2004. Harry was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a hard worker all his life. Harry retired from Hayes Mfg. in Neenah, WI and also held numerous jobs in the cleaning business. He was a huge Brewer fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing.

He is survived by his children: Mike (Mary Ann) Brigham, Cloverdale, CA; Margie (Jim) Schneider; Linda (Chuck Rogers) Brigham; Nancy (Bob) Bellile; Julie Brigham; all of New London; brothers: Gordon (Marietta); Kenneth (Millie); Lester (Diane). Ten grandchildren: Nathan Brigham, Vanessa Lefleur, Jodi Rutledge, Katie Freeman, Joshua Wilkinson, Todd Wilkinson, Alyssa Laredo, Lauren Rusch, Adam Doman, and Beth Bellile. He is further survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers Albert and Melvin, a sister Elnora, a granddaughter Paula Bellile and a grandson Austin.

Funeral Services for Harry was held on Monday, February 25, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Residence Chapel, New London with Sandy Campbell officiating. Visitation was held at the chapel on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. The family would like to thank Dr Renee Schuler, Marilyn Rima from Evercare and all the wonderful people at St. Joseph Residence for the loving care and kindness they showed to Dad for the past 2 years. You are all angels and he loved all of you. Rest in peace, Dad. Give your “Sweet Caroline” a hug from us. We love you and will miss you.
