Tammy Lynn Dunkel (Janke), age 42, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at Brewster Village, Appleton after complications from MS.

Tammy was born July 19, 1970 in Waupaca, WI, daughter of Leo and Rose Janke of Ogdensburg.
Tammy is survived by her three sons, Parker, Trevor and Spencer, living at home; her parents Leo and Rose; siblings, Karen (Joe) Holman, Plover; Ben Janke (Su Fisher) Ogdensburg and Terri Kent (Jeff) Northland. Nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her brother Gary Janke, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Tammy graduated from Manawa High School in 1988. She moved to Appleton after graduation, and met her husband Paul Dunkel, they were married in 1990 and later divorced. Tammy sold real estate and lived in Greenville with her family up until her failing health forced her to move into Brewster Village, a full time health care facility. She lived there for the past five years and was taken care of by a wonderful and caring staff. Tammy will always be remembered for her strength, love of family and friends, and especially for her love and joy of being a mother to her three boys.
A memorial service was held for Tammy on February 26th at Cline Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Interment will be at Baldwins Mills Cemetery this spring. A Memorial Fund has been established in Tammy’s name.
Time is too slow for those who wait
Too swift for those who fear
Too long for those who grieve
Too short for those who rejoice
But, for those who love –
Time is eternity.
