The city of Weyauwega’s yard waste site will open for the season on Wednesday, April 3.
The site is located on Slough Road.
During April and May, the site will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Wednesday and Saturday.
During the months of June through September, the site will be open every other Saturday, beginning on June 8.
It will thus be open on June 22; July 6 and 20; Aug. 3, 17 and 31; and Sept. 14 and 28.
During October, site hours will be extended one hour on Saturdays, with open hours then 10 a.m to 3 p.m.
The site will be open every Wednesday and Saturday, during October and November.
City residents may purchase a 2013 Yard Waste Site Tag at City Hall for $1.
City residents may burn leaves or brush from 5-10 p.m. daily, but not on city streets or sidewalks and only in a safe and responsible manner.
