Looking Beyond the Exhibits

New London- Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at a museum? Are you curious to know what happens to an item when it is donated? Want to see what is behind those locked doors? Well, we will satisfy your curiosity on Saturday, April 6 at the New London Public Museum. Christine Cross, museum director, will be taking guided tours of the support areas of the museum. Tours will be about 45 minutes. Due to limited space, we ask that you sign up ahead of time for a tour. The tours will start at 10:30, 11:30 and 12:30. Call today to sign up, 920-982-8520! Learn more in the hands-on Curiosity Corner filled with interesting projects and things to do. Want to discover more, our research library is available by appointment. The museum is located in the lower level of the New London Public Library, 406 S. Pearl St. and is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (year-round) and 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Saturday (Labor Day to Memorial Day). Admission is free.
