The Waupaca Breakfast Rotary Club is requesting nominations for the annual Service Above Self Award for a teacher or staff member who has made a difference through involvement in the community.

This would include service in a community organization, charity, service club or community project that is above and beyond a teacher’s professional duties.

A $250 cash award is made to the teacher, and a $250 donation will be made to a charity or project on behalf of the award recipient.

Nominations can be made by any member of the community, or by an organization in which the nominee is involved.

Nominations should briefly describe how the teacher has demonstrated the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self,” the teacher’s impact on the organization, time spent, recruitment of other volunteers, fund raising and other efforts.
