Bruce E. Golding of Waupaca, age 65, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at his home.
He was born in Waupaca on October 1, 1947 to George and Arlene (Anderson) Golding. Bruce worked for Waupaca County Highway Department for over 40 years. He was a Town of Dayton Supervisor. Bruce loved tractors, baling hay and could fix anything. He liked visiting with friends, hunting and fishing, especially muskie fishing. He enjoyed getting away to his cabin in Tomahawk as much as possible. He had a green thumb and liked to plant trees, attend to his garden and build birdhouses.
He will be sadly missed by his parents, George and Arlene Golding of Waupaca, daughters: Haley (Richard) Nelson of Waupaca; Jessica (special friend, Eric Selle) Golding of New London; Rikki (special friend, Nate Regan) Golding of Wautoma; Whitney (fiance, Matt Rohan) Golding of Waupaca; grandchildren, Rhett and Rylee Nelson; brother, Doug (Sue) Golding of Waupaca; sister, Sherry (Keith) Timm of Manawa, special friend, Kay Janssen of Waupaca; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 6 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca. The visitation will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Pafreyville Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
