Game is about gaining control, keeping power

Fishing season opened with ice on Northern Wisconsin lakes this year.

Snow cover in the northern hemisphere this December was the greatest since 1966. Moscow saw the greatest snow depth in 134 years.

Geophysicist David Deming says there has been no increase in mean global temperature for 15 years.

Drought and wildfires are not increasing, tornadoes are not increasing. World-wide hurricane activity is near a 40-year low.

Global sea ice is above the 30-year mean and higher than it was in 1980.

Polar bear populations are exploding, and there is talk of a sport hunting season on polar bears to control the numbers, which have increased over the last 30 years.

Yet our president continues to advance policy and regulation to meet his goal of “electricity costs will skyrocket.”

His EPA continues its war on coal and coalminers. The EPA does what it can to make energy costs rise for Americans. Why?

Because the objective is power for government agencies and politicans.

Any student of the Saul Alinsky method knows the game is always about gaining control and keeping political power.

If you have half of Americans depending on government checks and hand-outs, and the other half in fear of government agents and new regulations, you have power.

This gives those in government the ability to demand favors for their pals and for themselves, in return for the favor of being allowed to do business here.

I recently saw a movie about East German oppression.

A government official was able to approve or disapprove anyone who wanted to be in TV and films.

He used this power to get actresses to do “favors” for him if they wanted to be able to act.

This is what socialism is all about. And this is where we are headed.
