Cardinals take two from Wolves

Stevens Point Pacelli swept a pair of baseball games from Manawa May 16.

The Cardinals took the first game 5-2 before completing the sweep with an 11-3 victory in the second game.

Manawa took a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the fourth after coming up with a pair of runs in the to half of the inning, but Pacelli rallied with three runs in the fifth and one more in the sixth.

Luke Wilz and Adam Langman doubled for the Wolves in the game, while Camden Moser took the loss.

Manawa scored three times in the bottom of the first in the second game, but those would be the only runs the Wolves came up with, as the Cardinals broke open a 4-3 game with a seven-run seventh inning.

Josh Mauritz took the loss on the mound for the Wolves.
