Janice (Herber) Watson, age 73, Medina, passed away May 31, 2013, at her residence with her children by her side, following a long battle with cancer.
Janice was born on February 7, 1940, in Green Bay daughter of the late Carl and Gladys (Paulson) Herber. She graduated from New London High School. Janice was called mom and grandma from a lot of kids. She was a hard working lady, who served everyone her whole life.
She is survived by her sons, Dean (Jean) Watson, Medina; Kevin (Brenda) Watson, Fremont; two daughters, Dawn (Pat) Griesbach, Hortonville and June (Robert) Krull, Readfield; a sister, Carla (Glenn) LaRue; a brother, Bob Herber. Seven grandchildren: Eric (Jen) Ross, Mike Ross, Joshua (Stacey) Griesbach, Felicia (special friend Robin) Giggar, Melissa (special friend Amanda) Griesbach, Kory Krull and Taylor Krull; four great-grandchildren: William and Jackson Griesbach, Scarlett Giggar and Christian Ross. Her own baby and companion through the years, Kitty. The grandbabies (pets) that she cared for often, and will miss her dearly: Otis, Rebba, Molly, Winston and Charlie. Janice is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Barbara and Gloria; a brother Bill, a son Willy and close companion Bill Clemets.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sandy Lynn for being a life long friend of our family, you are loved dearly, to Kathy (of California) for being a dear friend to our mother, she loved you so much and also to ThedaCare and the hospice team (if it weren’t for you we would not of been able to keep mom in her home, where she wanted to be), so thank-you all from the bottom of our hearts.
