Vander Pas, Tod J.

Tod J. Vander Pas, of Weyauwega, formerly of Little Chute, age 54, passed away unexpectedly after a lengthy illness Sunday June 30, 2013 at his home.

He was born in La Crosse on November 20, 1958 to Thomas and Joyce (Gloudemans) Vander Pas. After graduating from Little Chute High School in 1977, Tod went to Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI, where he graduated from the College of Pharmacy. Tod found his true calling as a pharmacist and greatly relished his opportunity to serve people in his jobs at Jernegan’s Health Mart in New London, the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, and many other pharmacies throughout the Fox Valley and Waupaca areas. In his free time, Tod loved to travel and spend time with his friends. He also enjoyed playing cards and board games, reading, bowling, golf, curling and watching movies.

Tod is survived by his parents, Thomas and Joyce Vander Pas, Little Chute; siblings: Tim (Diana) of Lake Zurich, IL; Troy (Brenda) of Fond du Lac; and Tammy (Mike) Maley of Little Chute; and nieces and nephews: Kirk, Cole, Erin, Abby, Macy, Christa, Carly and Ty Vander Pas, Daniel, Rachel and Matthew Maley. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tod was preceded in death by his grandparents: Nick and Rose (Hoolihan) Vander Pas and John and Margaret (Josephs) Gloudemans; his uncles: Jim and Pat Vander Pas, Ron and Ken Gloudemans; his aunts, Janice Gloudemans and Carole Seidl; and his cousins, Cindy Seidl and Jon Gloudemans.

Visitation will be held Tuesday July 9, 2013 at O’Connell Funeral Home (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 5:00 p.m. until time of the service at 7:00 p.m. Deacon Vincent De Groot will officiate. Committal will be in St. John Cemetery.
