Youth football camp set in Weyauwega

Weyauwega-Fremont High School’s varsity football coaches will run a football camp for grades 4-6.

The camp will be held from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday, July 22, Tuesday, July 23, and Thursday, July 25, at the W-F athletic field behind the school.

Locker room doors will open at 3:45 p.m. each day.

The first two days of the camp will focus on offense and defense, respectively, according to coach Tom Chase.

“Day 3 will be Favorite Position Day, as campers will choose which position they want to learn more about,” he said. “Campers will have skill competitions to win Gatorade products. We will also have an Indian Ball game each day, with Day 3 having an Indian Ball tournament.”

The cost of the nonpadded camp is $20 and campers will receive a T-shirt and Gatorade.
