Colleen Kay Ridge, age 61, of Ogdensburg, WI, passed away on Thursday, August 8th, 2013 at her residence with her family at her side.
She was born in Iola, WI, on February 21, 1952, a daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Dailey) Georgeson. Colleen married H. Jack Ridge on July 24, 1981 in Big Falls, WI. He preceded her in death on October 8, 1987. Prior to her retirement, she had worked at Presto Products in Weyauwega. Colleen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her loving pets, Copper and Bootsy.
Survivors include her children, Sheila (Victor) Much, Ogdensburg, WI; Jason (Ashley) Ridge, Iola, WI; grandchildren, Kayla (special friend – Adam Vraa) Much, Ogdensburg, WI; Jayden Ridge, Iola, WI; sister, Sharon (John) Kerneen, Weyauwega, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Duane Georgeson.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Big Falls, WI, at 11 AM on Monday, August 12th, 2013, with Reverend Janice Kuder, officiating. Interment will be in Park Cemetery, Town of St. Lawrence, WI. Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 4 – 7 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Monday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name.
