Dance team to host clinic
Waupaca High School’s dance team will hold a fundraiser, A Day with the Dancers 2013, at the school.
The event, for girls in grades K-8, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12. Registrations will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and the cost is $25 per child.
The clinic will include lunch, snacks, refreshments, achievement certificates and special smile awards.
Parents and friends are asked to arrive at the school at about 2:45 p.m. to shop for all-new Waupaca T-shirts, glitter-embroidered headbands and neon-colored water bottles. Dance team members will also sell specialty baked goods and raffle tickets for gift baskets.
A performance is scheduled for 3 p.m. to showcase the talents of the young dancers.
