Children?s programs under way at library

Children’s programming began this month, at the Weyauwega Public Library.

Held at 11 a.m. Wednesdays, the  programs are a joint effort of Traci Zietlow, the 4K teacher in the Weyauwega-Fremont School District, and Children’s Librarian Kelly Kneisler.

Babygarten includes songs, rhymes, moving to music and doing a simple craft.

At Rhyme Time, children learn nursery rhymes through movement, music, drama and crafts.

Story Time is offered on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

Siblings may attend, even if they do not fall into one of the specified age groups.

The programs offer activities for children and a way for caregivers to meet and socialize with others.

The next Book Friends meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28.

This month’s book is “Waterwalk” by Steven Faulkner.

The next Page Turners Evening book group meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16.

The meeting is “bring a guest” night.

The group will be reading “Little Bee” by Chris Cleave. It will meet every month, with a new book being introduced every other month.

Adults are invited to join either book group, or both of them.
