Phantoms overwhelm Bulldogs

The West De Pere Phantoms scored 28 points in the first quarter while on their way to a 45-0 win over the Bulldog varsity football team on Friday, Sept. 27.

The Phantoms added 10 points in the second quarter and seven in the third quarter as they cruised to victory.

New London gained just one first down, while netting -1 rushing yard on the evening. The Bulldogs netted five passing yards on the night, and threw two interceptions.

Hunter Zaddack completed four of 13 passes for five yards with two picks, while Tyler Raschke caught one pass for three yards and Jacob Thomas caught three passes for two yards.

Connor Hoell and Andrew Clauss ran for 13 and 19 yards, respectively, but Zaddack, Austin Wyngaard and Brock Herzfeldt lost 34 yards on nine carries.

The Bulldogs will celebrate Homecoming with a 7 p.m. football game on Friday, Oct. 4.
