Belliveau, Michael J.

Michael J. Belliveau, age 65 of Beaver Dam, formerly of Clintonville and Waupaca, passed away on Monday afternoon, October 7, 2013, at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca after losing a lengthy battle with cardiac and pulmonary conditions.

Michael, the son of the late Harold and Irene (Waldburger) Belliveau, was born on July 9, 1948, in Merrill, WI. Michael spent his early years in Tomahawk and later moved to Wausau where he graduated from high school. In his lengthy financial career, he rose to the position of Vice-President at Dairyman’s State Bank in Clintonville. In 2005, Michael retired from APAC in Green Bay, WI. In 1971, Michael married Catherine Isberner, and the couple had 2 children; Christopher & Laura. After the couple’s divorce, Michael spent his winters in Arizona, and remained in Wisconsin for the summers. Michael was a proud member of the Beja Shriners of Green Bay, WI, and a life-long member of the Wisconsin Rapids Masonic Lodge 128. He was a former member of the Clintonville Blue Lodge 197, and the Mesa, AZ Oriental Lodge, 128. He enjoyed spending time camping, cross-country skiing, and traveling. In recent years, he enjoyed spending time with his Waldburger/Laatsch cousins in Beaver Dam. In 2010, Michael and Diane Maydew, were united in marriage in Steven’s Point, WI

Survivors include: his wife, Diane, Beaver Dam and Mesa, Arizona; his children, Christopher Belliveau, Clintonville and Laura Belliveau, Mission Viejo, CA; and former spouse, Catherine Belliveau, Clintonville. Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held Friday October 18, 2013, at 11 AM at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville with Rev. Jim Verkest officiating.
