GOP bill removes local control

Wisconsin’s Assembly and Senate Mining Committee members have created a bully bill LRB3146 to remove local government’s ability to protect itself from being pushed around and seriously harmed.

It removes local control to protect natural resources, including clean air and drinking water, as well as public health so that locals will be bullied by ruthless frac sand mining companies who are here to destroy everything good and leave a non-sustainable toxic strip mine devoid of landforms behind.

LRB3146 will allow out-of-state Republican and Tea Party campaign contributors to turn our local areas into ugly industrial wastelands like Appalachia.

McMansions in the rural countryside that spent millions for beautiful aesthetics of natural quiet wildlife and landforms will soon find themselves surrounded by non-stop, around-the-clock blasting and stadium lights cracking their home’s foundation. The bullies allow stealing of property value and your life’s goals from you.

Take a tour of Chippewa or Trempealeau County to see what is coming to your back yard.

Contact the Assembly and Senate mining committee members and tell them to stop this. Ask why they have become anti-democratic, anti-Constitutional rights, anti-environment, anti-healthy folks and anti-local control.
