Norma Jean Johnson, age 86, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013 at her residence.

Norma was born in Waupaca, WI on October 14, 1927, the daughter of the late Arthur and Maytie Johnson. Norma is survived by her sister, Lucile Jensen, Waupaca, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Muriel Seeber and Arlene Jenner and her brothers-in-law, Fred Jensen, E. Les Jenner and R. Lloyd Seeber.

Norma was very proud of her independence. She lived and worked for many years in Denver, Colorado. After moving back to Waupaca she worked at the Wisconsin Veteran’s Home in King until her retirement.

As per Norma’s wishes, there will be no services. She will be interred at the Sheridan Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Waupaca Humane Society in her name. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would like to extend special gratitude and thanks to the friends and staff at Park Vista Retirement Living and Theda Care Hospice for their care, love and compassion.
