Celebrate the holidays in Manawa

Manawa’s Holiday Craft and Gift Show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at Little Wolf Junior/Senior High School.

Adult admission is $1; children 12 and under are admitted free.

The show is sponsored by Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Manawa.

Santaland will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lindsay House Bed & Breakfast, 539 Depot Street.

Besides visiting with Santa, children and adults can enjoy cocoa and cookies, tours of the bed and breakfast, and horse-drawn wagon rides between Santaland and the Holiday Craft Fair.

Any donations of unwrapped toys and nonperishable food items will be donated to the Manawa Area Community Food Pantry.

The annual Youth Christmas Dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco.

The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 6-12, and free for children under age 6.

A tree lighting for Lights of Love will be held at 4:30 p.m. at Triangle Park in downtown Manawa.

The ceremony will include a reading of the remembered and honored names.

Lights of Love is presented by the Wisconsin Workers 4-H Club.
