Raddatz, Renae L.

Renae L. Raddatz, age 48, Weyauwega, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 2, 2013.

She was born on March 28, 1965, New London daughter of LeRoy and Patricia (Flanagan) Raddatz. Renae was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church, Sugar Bush. She attended special education classes in New London and graduated from Plamann School. She worked at Waupaca County Industries for many years. Renae enjoyed swimming outings, going to Wisconsin Dells for weekend get-a-ways at the water parks and she attended the WcArc Keller’s Lake Day Camp for the past 43 years. Renae also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and sitting in the hot tub.

Renae is survived by her mother Pat (Ronald) Schoen, New London; paternal grandmother, Anna Raddatz, New London; two sisters, Genevieve Raddatz, and her children, Jordin and Tyler, Wisconsin Dells; Kathryn (Jeff) Royle and children, Chanda and Joclyn, De Pere; and brother, Lester Raddatz, (Stacy), New London. She is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father LeRoy, a sister Ronda Lynn, paternal grandfather, Royal Raddatz, maternal grandparents, Tom and Viola Flanagan, uncles, Donald and John Flanagan and a cousin Dominic Raddatz.

Funeral services for Renae will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with Rev. Marcus Schulz officiating. Burial will be in the Ruckdashel Cemetery, Town of Lebanon. Visitation will be held at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London on Friday from 4-7 p.m. and also at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Kara Krohn and her daughters, Kourtney and Brianna for taking Renae on outings and also the staff at Strong Haven CBRF: Marie, Mary, Dan, and Chris for their loving care. A memorial has been established for Keller’s Lake Day Camp and Strong Haven CBRF.
