Girls? hockey team wins one, loses three

Fans of the Waupaca Area girls’ hockey team might want to mark Monday, Jan. 27, on their schedule.

That’s the day Medford will visit the Waupaca Expo Center. If that game is anything like the Dec. 9 matchup between the Great Northern Conference rivals, fans will be in for a treat.

The two teams combined for 11 goals in the second period alone and Waupaca Area returned home with a 9-7 victory, the first win of the season.
