Newman joins GreenStone

Greg Newman has joined GreenStone Farm Credit Services as a tax accountant.

Newman will be working with customers based in the association’s Clintonville branch.

In his new role, Newman will be assisting GreenStone customers with their tax and accounting needs, including providing financial information for credit, tax and management decisions, as well as serving as a resource for accounting products and software.

“Greg brings a wealth of tax and accounting knowledge to GreenStone, and will be an asset to our customers,” said Larry Johnson, regional vice president of sales and customer relations. “I encourage producers to schedule a tax review appointment with Greg to ensure they are taking advantage of tax laws that benefit their operation.”

Newman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Prior to joining GreenStone, he worked with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue and the National Association of Tax Professionals.

A Wisconsin native, Newman enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
