Public input sought for outdoor rec plan

The East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission and the city of Clintonville are updating the five-year Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP), 2014-18.

Beginning in September 2013, the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (ECWRPC) and the City of Clintonville kicked off an eight-month planning process to complete a CORP for the City’s Parks Department.

This planning process will include a comprehensive examination of the City’s parks and recreation facilities while identifying recommendations for improving the system and its services over the next five years.

In addition to this planning process being guided by ECWRPC and the City of Clintonville, public input opportunities will be made available throughout the planning process and mechanisms for public involvement will be identified. One of those mechanisms is a survey of the parks and recreation facilities and can currently be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/clintonvilleparks.

A public hearing will also be held prior to the formal adoption of the plan which is anticipated for the spring of 2014.
