Carol D. Holsten, 73, passed away at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton, WI on Dec. 10th, 2013.
Carol lived in Waupaca, WI. She was born on July 9th, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI. She was born to Frank and Valarie Warner. Siblings are: sisters, Jaquie Carty, Sandy (Fred) Schimmell, and brother, Terry (Martianne) Warner. She is also survived by her children: Terry Shelton, Robert Wagoner (Sue), Jeff Wagoner, Tracy Carroll, Kim Sage (Bill), and Sean Wagoner; her 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and her loyal dog Sable. She was preceded in death by the love of her life James Hansen, first born Joey Shelton, son-in-law Patrick M. Carrol and great grandson Derrick. Carol loved to travel, even lived in Arizona for 25 years. She liked the Grand Canyon, but loved the lakes even more. Which is what brought her back to Wisconsin. She wished she could be traveling the Alcan Hwy to Alaska; and now she is traveling with “Pops.”
There will be a celebration of her life held at the Best Western Grand Seasons on January 11, 2014 at 12 p.m. Anyone that knew Carol is welcome to attend. Please bring memories to share.
