The Clintonville School Board unanimously approved the 2014-15 budget calendar and 2014-15 school calendar Monday, Dec. 9.
Business Manager Jenny Goldschmidt said there were no major changes to the budget calendar over previous years. S
uperintendent Tom O’Toole said the school calendar largely mirrors this year’s calendar, with one of the only notable differences being a full week off of school for spring break in 2014-15. This is in keeping with the district’s rotating schedule of having a week-long spring break every other year.
Two personnel items were approved by the board, including:
• Modification of hours for Laura Wilber, MS Para II, from 20 to 25 hours per week; and
• Resignation of Mark “Tank” Westphal from his assistant football coaching position, effective immediately.
Later in the meeting, the board adjourned into closed session to discuss “personnel items”; however, the board did not take any action upon returning to open session.
Upcoming events include:
• Middle School Winter Concerts – Band 5:30-6:30 p.m., Choir 7-8 p.m. at the Middle School Gymnasium;
• Winter Recess – no school from Dec. 23 to Jan. 1; and
• School resumes – Jan. 2.
The board’s next regularly scheduled meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, in the middle school IMC.
