Orville Bierstedt of the Wisconsin Veterans Home, age 80, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014.
He was born in Richland Center on October 6, 1933 to the late Henry and Bertha (Montgomery) Bierstedt. Orville served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Betty; step children: Christine Plehn of Waukesha; Geraldine Mayotte of East Troy; Jacqueline Blank of Waupaca; sisters, Mariline and Marvelle; 6 grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters.
The Memorial Service will be on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the Stordock Hall Chapel of the Wisconsin Veterans Home. Burial will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The Maple Crest Funeral Home Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
