Faehling, Beulah May Woolsey Manny

Beulah May Woolsey Manny Faehling, age 93, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, February 15th, 2014 at Bethany Home.

She was born in Manawa, Wisconsin on May 3, 1920, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Stanley) Woolsey. Beulah married Walter H. Manny on June 1, 1939, in the Town of Lind. They had three children. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1965. On October 21, 1978 Beulah married her second husband, Lewis A. Faehling. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2000. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Big Falls. Beulah retired from the Zwicker Knitting Mills, having worked many places in Waupaca during her lifetime.

Beulah is survived by: son, William (Laura) Manny, Waupaca; daughters, Pamela (William) Pomerenke, Scandinavia, and Patti (Charles) Anderson, Remus, MI; grandchildren: Dawn (Dean) Cornelius, Weyauwega; Jason (Wendy) DeGodt Sr., Waupaca; Tracy (Robert) Riemer, Elkhart Lake; Jesse DeGodt, Waupaca; James Anderson, Remus, MI and Sarah (Brian) Kelsey, Remus, MI, and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is further survived by her sister Josephine Pope, Florida and her brother Robert (Lorraine) Woolsey, Wasilla, AK. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Walter Manny and Lewis Faehling; daughter, Nancy Manny DeGodt Ambrowiak and grandson, James W. Manny Sr. Also preceded in death by sons-in-law, Jay DeGodt and Paul Ambrowiak, and special friend, James Corrigan Sr. Three of her siblings also preceded her in death, Fred (Florence) Woolsey, Ruth (Herman) Peterson, and William (Arlene) Woolsey.

Funeral Service will be held at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 with Pastors Janice Kuder and Jeff Fletcher, officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at a later date in Lakeside Memorial Park, Waupaca. The family would like to thank the staff of Bethany Home for the loving care given Beulah during her many years as a resident.
