T-Birds finally get rematch with Manawa

Thanks to Mother Nature, a Central Wisconsin 8 girls’ basketball matchup between Iola-Scandinavia and Manawa has been put on hold. Again.

Manawa will host the Thunderbirds at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, a game that has already been postponed by the weather twice. The teams were originally scheduled to play Jan. 14, but that game was called off and rescheduled for Feb. 17. It has now been rescheduled for a third time.

The teams played each other less than a week ago in Iola, with the T-Birds handing the Wolves a 65-25 defeat. I-S also fell to Amherst Feb. 11.
