Kathleen M. Wohlt, age 63, of Fremont, WI passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 3, 2014, at her home.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 44 years, Jerry, her children, and grandchildren. Kathe was born on April 11, 1950, in Waupaca, WI, the granddaughter of the late Arnold Grunwald and the late Henry and Vivian (Grunwald) Petersen. On September 13, 1969, Kathe married Jerome Wohlt at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Kathe worked for the Weyauwega-Fremont School District and was also a former member of the Weyauwega Fremont School Board. She also worked with the Fremont Wolf River EMS and an EMT for 23 years. Kathe was a member of Hope United Church of Christ in Fremont, and she enjoyed reading, horses and horseback riding, playing bingo, spending time with her family, and Molly, her dog.

Kathe is survived by her loving husband, Jerry; her daughter, Katrina (Tony) Dering and their daughter, Courtney; her sons, David (Tammy) and their children, Megan and Edward; Michael (Rachelle) and their children, William, Gabriel and TC (Brittany) Bartol; and Daniel (Michele) and their children, Zachary Costello, Logan and Lily; her mother-in-law, Florence Wohlt; her brother-in-law, James Wohlt; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Hope United Church of Christ, 8950 Alpine Rd., Fremont. Pastor Alex Tychkin will officiate. Burial will be in Wolf River Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, at the funeral home, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, at the church, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established for Hope United Church of Christ. Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont, is assisting the family with arrangements.
