De’Sean A. Mahkimetas, 18, Marion, was charged with felony bail jumping and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, Mahkimetas appeared in Waupaca County Circuit Court on felony charges of burglary and theft. He was released from custody on a $2,000 signature bond.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m. that same day, Marion Police Officer Erik Krause was on patrol when he saw Mahkimetas walking on the sidewalk along Perry Avenue.
Krause pulled over and asked Mahkimetas what was going on, and Mahkimetas said he had been visiting a friend.
According to the criminal complaint, Krause then asked Mahkimetas if he had anything illegal. Mahkimetas allegedly pulled a pot pipe out of his pocket, handed it to the officer and told him to keep it.
