Rademacher, Henry Marcel

Henry Marcel Rademacher, age 70, of Iola, died Saturday, March 8th, 2014.

Henry was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on April 12, 1943, the son of the late Gordon Marcel and Fidelia Elizabeth (Loehr) Rademacher. He married Lucinda “Cindy” Miller on Nov 21, 1970 in Appleton. Hank served in the United States Navy for 8 years and was a member of the USS Enterprise, the first nuclear ship in its fleet. He was an honest and gentle man with a dry sense of humor. He enjoyed reading, fishing, spending time on the ham radio and living in the country. Hank was also a truck driver for Dushek Trucking in Waupaca, shortly after selling his business; Marcell’s Family restaurant located on Wisconsin Avenue in Appleton, WI. He worked as a computer technician / analyst for 28 years for Modern Banking Systems, headquartered in NE; a computer support network in the financial industry, where he was lovingly known as “Hardware Hank”, retiring in 2012. In retirement, Hank found great enjoyment in traveling in his motor home and whenever in Kentucky, “observing” things with his brother-in-law, Doug.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Rademacher of Iola; children, Todd M. (Terese) Rademacher of South Carolina, Tammy R. (Jay Hiemstra) Wellman of South Carolina, Laura L. (Stephen) Frederiksen of Stevens Point; 4-grandchildren; sister, Mary K. (Werner Lasch) Zanto of Appleton; brothers-in-law, Douglas (Kay) Miller of Kentucky and Timothy (Darla) Malueg of Alabama and sister-in-law, LaVerne (Kurt) Betow of Menasha, Vicki (Wallace) Slinker and step-mother-in-law, Jacki Mitchell both of Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and precious friends in Iola and Utah. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara A. Stoll of Alabama.

Private family Graveside Services with full Military Honors will be held at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, Wisconsin in June. Register Book and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.voiefuneralhome.com. Voie Funeral Home of Iola assisted the family with arrangements.
